PDPA Notice

This notice is about Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
It tells you how The Secondary Classroom® collects, uses and discloses your personal data.
Your consent
When you tick the box and press the sign-up button, you agree to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal data for the purposes in our Privacy Policy.
These purposes are sending you the free chapter, study tips and updates, and planning what we build next.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or email our Data Protection contact below.
We will act on your request within a reasonable time, and tell you what it means for you, for example that you will stop getting our emails.
Access and correction
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
You may also ask us to correct it.
We may need to check who you are first.
Retention
We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.
Then we delete it or remove anything that can identify you.
Transfers outside Singapore
Our email service provider may store your data on servers outside Singapore.
We make sure the data is given a standard of protection similar to the PDPA.
Protection
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, use or loss.
Data breaches
If a breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Do Not Call
We send emails only to people who have agreed to receive them.
We do not make marketing phone calls or send marketing text messages.
